Week 9 of the 100 Day Emo Glow Up: Try Something Bold

Welcome to Week 9 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp — the first step into Phase 3: The Radiate Phase (Days 57–84). This is where we stop hiding in the shadows and start stepping into the light with energy, confidence, and momentum.
This week’s theme is simple but powerful: try something bold.
Now, “bold” looks different for everyone. For some, it’s swiping on a dark lipstick that screams elder emo forever. For others, it’s booking a solo date and proving to yourself that your own company is more than enough. And for my gym rats and beginners alike, it might mean testing your strength with a new lifting PR or finally jumping into that HIIT circuit you’ve been avoiding.
Why boldness matters:
🖤 It builds confidence. Doing something out of your comfort zone shows your brain that you’re capable of more than you think. ⚡ It fuels momentum. A single bold act can set the tone for the rest of your week. 🔥 It radiates energy. People pick up on boldness — it attracts opportunities, connections, and growth.
Ideas for Your Bold Move This Week:
Rock that bold lipstick or eyeliner combo you loved in 2007 and still secretly do. Take yourself on a solo coffee date, bookstore trip, or even dinner out. Try a new workout class, push for heavier weights, or hit a PR you’ve been chasing. Speak up in class, a meeting, or a group chat where you usually stay quiet. Say yes to something fun you’d normally decline.
Remember: bold doesn’t mean reckless. It means leaning into the edge of your comfort zone and seeing what happens when you step one inch further.
This week, I challenge you to pick your bold act, own it, and celebrate it. Snap a pic, journal about it, or just sit with the feeling of empowerment afterward.
Because here’s the truth: the emo kid inside of you has always been bold — surviving, expressing, and creating through chaos. Now it’s time to let that boldness radiate outward.
So tell me — what’s YOUR bold move for Week 9? Drop it in the comments or DM me. Let’s hold each other accountable and cheer each other on.
🖤✨ Stay bold, stay radiant, stay emo. ✨🖤
Phase 3 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp has entered the chat: The Radiate Phase (Days 57–84)

This is where energy meets confidence, and momentum becomes your new best friend.

Daily rituals to keep the glow alive:
Uplifting playlists that mix gym anthems with gloomy nostalgia
Protein at every meal (because fuel = power)
Turn up the intensity: progressive overload, HIIT, or cardio bursts
Connect with at least 1 person a week (yes, elder emos can socialize )

Weekly vibes:
Week 9: Try something bold — dark lipstick, a solo date, or a new PR at the gym.
Week 10: 24 hours off social media → reclaim your soul.
Week 11: Create/update your vision board (Pinterest or IRL).
Week 12: Plan your Day 100 reward — trip, concert, tattoo, or photoshoot.
This is the phase where we stop dimming our light to fit in and start radiating the weird, strong, confident elder emo energy that carried us through all-nighters, heartbreaks, and pit sweat. 🖤
Who’s ready to turn the volume up and radiate unapologetically?
Emo Revival Day
🖤✨ My Top 10 Nostalgic Albums ✨🖤
Dear Diary, today I lined my eyes with pure angst, blasted the albums that raised me, and let my inner teen run the show. I may have paid bills this morning, but in my soul it’s still 2007 and I’m crying in the Hot Topic dressing room over band tees. 🖤
Since week 8 is all about emo revival day: eyeliner, nostalgic album, inner teen self-care I’ve curated a list of my top 10 nostalgic albums.

These records raised me, healed me, and honestly carried me through some of the darkest gym sessions and the hardest mental health days. Music has always been my therapy before I even had the words for it—and these albums are the soundtrack to both my inner teen and my current glow-up journey.
Some people lift heavy weights, I lift heavy emotions… and scream-sing my way through cardio.

Week 8: Emo Revival Day

Week 8 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp: Emo Revival Day. Black eyeliner on, nostalgic album blasting, and a whole lot of love for my inner teen who kept me alive through it all. This week is about honoring who we were, embracing who we are, and moshing into who we’re becoming.
Getting outside of my comfort zone ✅
Getting outside of your Comfort Zone

Week 7 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp and we’re kicking comfort zones to the curb 🖤
Whether it’s belting your favorite My Chem track, dancing like no one’s watching, or posting that sweaty gym selfie—this week’s about living loud, awkward, and unapologetically YOU. 🖤💪
100-Day Glow Up: Week 6

Theme: Confidence Check-In
This week is all about tuning into what confidence feels like—for you. Not what looks good on paper or what other people expect.
🖤 Journal Prompt:
What does confidence feel like in my body? In my voice? In how I take up space?
Then, here’s the challenge: embody it at least once this week.
That could mean rocking a bold outfit, speaking up, setting a boundary, or walking into the gym like the main character.
Confidence doesn’t have to be loud. It just has to be yours.
