Emo Revival Day

🖤✨ My Top 10 Nostalgic Albums ✨🖤

Dear Diary, today I lined my eyes with pure angst, blasted the albums that raised me, and let my inner teen run the show. I may have paid bills this morning, but in my soul it’s still 2007 and I’m crying in the Hot Topic dressing room over band tees. 🖤

Since week 8 is all about emo revival day: eyeliner, nostalgic album, inner teen self-care I’ve curated a list of my top 10 nostalgic albums.

These records raised me, healed me, and honestly carried me through some of the darkest gym sessions and the hardest mental health days. Music has always been my therapy before I even had the words for it—and these albums are the soundtrack to both my inner teen and my current glow-up journey.

Some people lift heavy weights, I lift heavy emotions… and scream-sing my way through cardio.

Which of these albums shaped YOU the most? Drop your forever emo fave in the comments ⬇️

Week 8: Emo Revival Day

Week 8 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp: Emo Revival Day. Black eyeliner on, nostalgic album blasting, and a whole lot of love for my inner teen who kept me alive through it all. This week is about honoring who we were, embracing who we are, and moshing into who we’re becoming.

Getting outside of your Comfort Zone

Week 7 of the #100DayEmoGlowUp and we’re kicking comfort zones to the curb 🖤

Whether it’s belting your favorite My Chem track, dancing like no one’s watching, or posting that sweaty gym selfie—this week’s about living loud, awkward, and unapologetically YOU. 🖤💪

100-Day Glow Up: Week 6

Theme: Confidence Check-In

This week is all about tuning into what confidence feels like—for you. Not what looks good on paper or what other people expect.

🖤 Journal Prompt:
What does confidence feel like in my body? In my voice? In how I take up space?

Then, here’s the challenge: embody it at least once this week.

That could mean rocking a bold outfit, speaking up, setting a boundary, or walking into the gym like the main character.

Confidence doesn’t have to be loud. It just has to be yours.

Wrapping up Week 5 of the 100-Day Emo Glow Up

100-Day Emo Glow Up Challenge: Week 5 – Book Something for You

Because You Deserve to Be on Your Own Calendar Too

Im closing out on Week 5 of the 100-Day Emo Glow Up Challenge – Book Something for You. This week, was all about taking up space in your own schedule and making self-prioritization a non-negotiable act of self-love.

In the chaos of adulting, it’s way too easy to treat yourself like an afterthought. You pencil in meetings, appointments, errands, and somehow always forget you. This week, we’re flipping the script: you’re the main event.

Why It Matters

Booking something for yourself — whether it’s a massage, a tattoo consultation, concert tickets, a solo coffee date, or a full-blown weekend getaway — is a way of telling yourself, I matter too. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It just has to be intentional.

You’re not waiting for someone else to give you permission. You’re reclaiming your time and attention, one calendar notification at a time.

Your Glow-Up Task:

Book something that’s just for you — and actually put it on your calendar.

Need ideas?

🎸 See your favorite band (or an emo tribute night) live

📚 Sign up for that creative writing class or book club

✨ Schedule a facial, massage, or even a piercing

☕️ Block out a morning for solo coffee + bookstore wandering

🖤 Book a day off just to rest, read, or play

Big or small, local or dreamy — it doesn’t matter. What matters is that it’s for you.

🖤 Elder Emo Reminder:

You spent your teenage years screaming lyrics about not fitting in — now you’re an adult and you still don’t have to. The real glow up is learning to unapologetically meet your own needs. You’re not selfish. You’re showing up for yourself. That’s punk as hell.

This week’s challenge is your permission slip to prioritize joy. You’re not “too busy.” You’re just not booked with yourself yet. Fix that.

Mornings hit different when you start with intention. â˜•đŸ’Ş

I kick things off with coffee boosted with protein, then vibe into the day with my Apollo wearable’s wake-up session.

Hydration? Check.
Sun protection? Always.

I get my morning light in with the dog before it heats up, then move my body and fuel up with a protein-packed breakfast.

It’s not just a routine—it’s a ritual for energy, mood, and glow-up gains. 🌞✨

Walking into Week 4 of the 100-Day Emo Glow Up!

It’s time to romanticize your routine. Whether you’re brewing tea in the moonlight, journaling to your favorite sad playlist, or lighting a candle before your skincare ritual—this week is about creating calm, intentional moments that feel like home. Morning or night, build a ritual that recharges your soul and keeps the burnout monsters at bay. 🕯️📖🖤

100-Day Emo Glow Up – Week 3

Trying new workout styles keeps fitness fun, challenges your body in fresh ways, and helps you break through plateaus. Switching it up can reignite motivation and uncover new favorite ways to move. 💀🖤

Here are a few workout styles to try:
•Strength Training (dumbbells, barbells, machines)
•Circuit or HIIT Workouts (short, intense bursts with rest)
•Yoga or Pilates (core strength + flexibility)
•Kickboxing or Martial Arts (cardio + bada** energy)
•Dance Workouts (Zumba, hip-hop, or TikTok choreo)
•Bodyweight Training (no equipment needed)
•Mobility or Functional Training (great for injury prevention)

Mixing it up = major glow up. 🕯️✨🖤
